What the extension accesses

When you open the favorites panel, the extension asks the Shopee site already open in your browser for your liked-products list. That list can include product names, images, prices, shop names, product links, and the number of products you have liked.

The extension uses your existing Shopee session for this request. It does not read, copy, store, or transmit your password, cookies, or other authentication credentials.

How that information is used

The liked-products information is used only to render the favorites panel, format prices for your local Shopee market, and open a product when you select it. The extension cannot like or unlike products, make a purchase, or change your Shopee account.

Storage and sharing

Shopee Likes does not save your favorites. The information is held in memory while the current page and panel are open, then discarded. Nothing is sent to the developer or sold, shared for advertising, or made available for people to read. Product information and images are requested directly from Shopee over HTTPS.

Site access

Chrome access is limited to the supported Shopee sites in Brazil, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, and Vietnam. This access is needed to add the favorites button and panel to those sites and load the account's liked products there. The extension does not run on unrelated websites.

Limited use

Information handled by Shopee Likes is used only to provide and improve its single purpose: showing your Shopee favorites on desktop. It is not used for advertising, credit decisions, or any unrelated purpose, and it is not transferred except where required by law or necessary to protect against abuse.

Changes and contact

If the extension's data practices change, this policy and the Chrome Web Store disclosures will be updated before the changed version is published. Questions can be raised through the project's public issue tracker.
